All The Wrong Reasons
Chapter 14

Chapter 14

Three months later

# How come I didn't see,
You were making fun of me?
How dare you change the rules.
You made me look a fool
Well now youre gonna see,
The last laughs not on me.
What am I gonna do,
To get my revenge on you?
You're goin' down. Goin' down.

Was it just another line,
Or did I jus' misread the sign?
What else could I do?
I was so into you.
With all this bad luck I've had,
My karma must be bad.
You've played your little game,
Oh what a shame.
You're goin' down. Goin' down

I'm singing it loud and I dont care.
I'm singing it proud everywhere.

Now I feel no remorse,
My life is back on course.
From this little hitch,
I have become a superbitch.
But dont be afraid,
Of this little confession Ive made.
I am not a whore.
I have gone hardcore.
You're goin' down, goin' down.#

"WOW, that was the new song by Michelle Leddon premiering on TRL today and we have Michelle with us."

"Hi"

"Youve gone all rock chick on us, whats with the change of direction?"

"Well I had always leaned in that direction anyway; I was never really a quote on quote 'Pop Princess'. It was just a natural progression for me." Michelle said.

"It's a very angry song was written about anyone in particular?"

"There is a certain cheating ex-boyfriend involved yes." Michelle scowled.

"Care to mention any names?"

"Nah, he knows who he is!"

Michelle sat in the car on her way back to her hotel; a lot had changed in the past three months. After that fateful night with Nick, she ran to Amy telling her not to tell John and that she would tell him herself. She had decided it would be easier to plead her case with John herself, she had nothing to fight for anymore the guy she had loved more than anyone in the world had betrayed her, after she had given up everything for him. She went to John and told him the whole story, deciding honestly was the best policy. She had expected John to scream and shout, but instead he just looked hurt that she had disobeyed him. He had said that under any other circumstances he would have taken her to court, but considering how badly she was hurt and the fact that affair was no longer in continuation, that he would simply terminate her contract with no hassle. She had spent the following month and her half crying and trying (but not succeeding) to forget Nick. It wasnt made any easier when she saw him constantly on TV and in magazines. Her depression eventually turned to determination so she set out to find herself new management and get her career back on track. She signed easily to new management because of her existing celebrity status. Her new contract had no silly clauses either which meant she was free to date who and when she wanted. Not that made any difference; she was still hurting too much to even begin thinking about dating again. Although the break up had, had one tiny benefit, she had managed to write a number of men bashing, rock chick songs, all of which were about Nick.

Michelles chauffeur pulled up outside her hotel; she thanked him and walked into the hotel. She was actually very excited, tonight was the Grammys and she had been asked to attend, unfortunately she wasnt performing or nominated but it was an honour just to be asked to go. She had picked out the perfect dress and was having her hair styled and make-up done. She was even allowed to take her best friend, Samantha. This was going to be the best night of her life, she decided and she was NOT going to think even once about a certain blonde haired, blue eyed, Backstreet Boy!
